Andi Caffrey is a determined and resilient student who has long wanted to pursue a career in research and academia. They have been lucky to have been taught and inspired by a number of mentors who have had a meaningful impact on their academic life. As an enthusiastic and devoted researcher, Andi hopes to contribute to the existing literature on gender perceptions and gendered violence against women, by looking through a feminist and cultural criminological lens.
